Housing

Blanks House

Overlooking the Akaroa Harbour, this compact house stretches from the dense bush capturing a framed view from the bay and beyond. A generous double high space filled with direct sunlight open largely onto a sheltered deck, extending the living area. Contrastingly, the 2 bedrooms, tucked into the bush offer a retreat from the open environment and expansive landscape. The project was built in CLT panel i,ported from europe. This requried a high level of detailing and was my first project working alongside Luca Ciaffa. An incredible talent.

Project completed while part of Atelierworkshop .
